  1. Wonderful ideas, Clarissa! I will have to check out the firestick–I never heard of that before. Did you see the Saturday Night Live tv episode from a few weeks ago for the “Alexa for Seniors”? That episode cracked me up–so funny!

  2. Hi Pat. We have the stick and it is wonderful!! The best news is that you can downsize your cable and save money too. So some research and I hope you find it useful. 🙂 I did not see that SNL but they are hilarious most of the time. I will have to find that episode on the firestick…:)

  3. My husband would just be happy to have a few days off – it’s been a loooooooooong semester for all of us. 😉

  4. Great ideas for Dad. need to check into the firestick.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful posts at Over The Moon Party.
    See you next week.
    Hugs,
    Bev

  5. Hi Elise, We love it too. I am working my way up to getting rid of cable too. I am addicted to my DVR but let me tell you…the money we can save is slowly pushing me in the direction of letting it go. 🙂 Thank you for reading along.

  6. Good ideas but my dad is one of those who buys whatever he wants when he wants it. By the time his birthday rolls around or Father’s Day or Christmas, there’s nothing left. Drives. Me. NUTS. I think I’ll suggest the Firestick to my girls for their dad. Then I can use it. LOL
