Lighting for the Pros

Happy New Year Lovies. I’m back and with lots to share! I’ve missed you all. I took a full couple of weeks off to spend time with my family and friends and then for the New Year, hubs and I sneaked away to the beach for some alone time. It was nice to fully unplug and I needed that.

But I’m back and raring to share new projects with you during the new year. I have some great things planned for the upcoming year and I hope you will join me. I am not going to challenge you this year, but I am going to suggest some areas that you may want to organize and update so stay tuned. I am going to take it slower this year and try to do everything with a budget in mind so I hope you will hang in there with me.

SPANX

I hope you remember an article I posted in November about choosing chandeliers. If you missed it, you can find it here. But while on break for the holidays, another source for lighting was brought to my attention and you know that whenever I run across something that I think may be helpful to you…I share. This source, which is Chester Lighting Pro, is the perfect place to purchase lighting if you are a designer, contractor, or electrician and need to purchase lighting in bulk. They actually offer volume discounts and special pricing for trade professionals such as Interior Designers, contractors, architects, and electricians. But it is also a great resource for the layperson like you and me. If you are a professional this is the perfect program to buy in bulk and get great discount prices. But if you are just a shopper, like me, this is a good resource for unique lighting for your home.

There could be affiliate links within this post. However, all opinions and ideas are my own. Clicking on and using the links to purchase products does not increase your cost at all. I appreciate your support.

I have fallen in love with some of the pieces and I know you will as well.

Pro LightingThere is a pendant for everyone and this one is for me. I love this fixture and think it could look lovely with most decorating styles.

Pro LightingIf you are not into the more traditional look, how about this look with the exposed Edison bulbs. I like this also. There are simply so many to choose from.

Is this not the cutest fixture and wouldn’t it look great in a kids room? I think so. It looks like little parachuting men and is cute. This is unique. I’ve never seen anything like this one. Have you?

Pro Lighting

How about one of the fixtures below over your island? If not one of these, there are many more from which to choose.

This is a small example of the variety of fixtures that are in stock and available for purchase. To see the full selection, visit Chester Lighting Pro. Personally, I could spend hours perusing this site.

Those are all so neat. I like the one with the exposed Edison bulbs the best! Thank you for co-hosting with me at Blogging Grandmothers Link Party. I shared your post on my social media sites.

Thank you for your information. We replaced our lighting the past 2 years and it is a big decision. There are so many choices out there. When you chose the right ones it really makes such an improvement.

    Hey Dee,

It is my pleasure to cohost with you. I am just sorry I have been out of pocket for so long. But finally today, my internet is back up. Yaaay. I’m glad you liked the fixtures.

    Hi Pamela,

I agree that lighting choices can be daunting. But I also believe that flooring and lighting can make or break a room no matter how high-end the decor may be. The reason I am so obsessed with lighting right now is because I am looking to change out my hall lighting both in my upstairs and downstairs hallways. And I am checking out different fixtures. With so many choices…wish me luck.

Thank you Cathy. I want to change some lighting in my home but there are so many choices until I find it difficult to decide. I hope I settle down soon and make a decision. 🙂 Please stop by again.

All great choices but the exposed Edison bulbs light is my fav. Thank you for partying with me at my very first Wednesday AIM Link Party. I shared your post on my social media sites.

    Hi Dee,

I always love partying with you. I am happy you enjoyed the article. There are quite a few nice choices and that’s what makes so difficult for me to choose a couple. lol
