Yes, There’s More…Fall Fun

We have weathered the storm. No real damage. Just high winds and lots of rain and we were even without power for a while. But we had no home damage and we and all of our family, friends, and neighbors are safe and sound and for that I am grateful. I pray all of you who were in the path of the storm survived with little, if any damage and disruption in your life. Let’s remember to keep those who were less fortunate in prayer as well. With that, I want to share the final touches of the downstairs area. Yes, There’s More…Fall Fun.

Fall Fun

The front door is welcoming with a fall wreath. Instead of purchasing a wreath this year, I used what I had and put one together. The cost for this wreath was $0.00. My favorite price of all time.

You remember the hall table. I painted it yellow and used furniture restore on the top. If you missed it,  you can get the product list here. Painting the table yellow really lightened up the hallway. As you can see, I love pine cones. I have them here and there throughout the house. I like to buy the ones that smell like cinnamon this time of year.

This is what you see from the front door. My fat bunny welcomes you as does the freestanding chalkboard. You can get a similar board here.

This is the other corner. I painted the hat rack yellow as well. I am thinking of painting the doors beige. What do you think? Would lighter doors brighten up the area?

This is the landing on the stairs. Another piece painted yellow.  This space at the top of the stairs completes the triangle of yellow pieces. The triangle includes this small table, the hat rack, and the hallway table.

Fall FunThis is what the little table looked like before and after the yellow paint. It was pretty in red, but I love the yellow…at least for now. 🙂

If you follow my blog, you know I love a tablescape. This is our eat-in kitchen and where Mister and I have our daily meals. I like to call this area our table for two. I upcycled the candle with the wine and grape motif. It’s an easy process. If you would like a tutorial, let me know and I will put one together.

I even added a bit of fall color to my kitchen as well. Please ignore the shot with Mister’s cell phone charging in the chair. What can I say? We do live here. 🙂

I love this pillow. I picked this baby up at The Home Store. The message is exactly how I feel most days.

Cute decor! I definitely can use a little more organization in my house! And as for the cell picture, hey, it shows you don’t live in a museum! You can absolutely find things popping up in my pics that weren’t meant to be there lol.

Thank you Callie. Fall is my favorite season. Although I love Christmas, the fall colors resonate with me. Sometimes, I go right back to my fall colors right after The holiday season and just bask in them until spring. Shhhhhh, don’t tell anyone. 🙂 Thank you for reading along.

Glad you weathered the storm! I love the tablescape! One day I hope to have a glass table, but my kids are young and would break it 🙂

    Hi Bekah,

Thank you for stopping by. Yes we were blessed not to have any storm damage, just without electricity for a short while.

I am happy you enjoyed the post. That glass table makes all the difference in that room. I had a wooden one there and the area felt tight but once that glass table was placed there it felt open and larger. Enjoy your kids, they grow up way too fast. 🙂 You can always get a glass table later.

This is always beautiful! I love how simple everything is to make.
