Trash To Treasure – From An Old Pickle Jar To An Outdoor Light Fixture

Trash To Treasure

I realize and perhaps you have noticed, that I have been blogging a little less lately and I wanted to explain why. First let me say, that blogging has provided me an outlet that I truly needed and still need in my life. And I hope to blog forever.

There are affiliate links within this post. However, all opinions and ideas are my own. Clicking on and using the links to purchase products does not increase your cost at all. I appreciate your support.

With that said, I have found another outlet and I am having fun with it as well. And I would like to invite you to join me on my new journey. I have tried to come up with a way to merge the two but the only way I could think to do that is to invite you to join me as I try to combine, as best I can, both.

If you have not checked it out yet, I have a YouTube channel. And over at “A Cozy Lifestyle With Clearissa Coward” I share tutorials and other cleaning, decorating, DIYs, upcycles, shopping hauls, and much much more on my Youtube Channel and what you get there is a lot of personal interaction because you can actually watch me work. You can watch me organize a closet, clean my kitchen, creating a craft, on video or sometimes even in real time. We can really get to know each other over there. 🙂 I would love that and I hope you are interested.

This is only an invite and I would love to see you over there. But if you are more comfortable here, in our blogging world, I will certainly understand and will hope that we can become closer here in our little piece of the blog world. Whatever you decide will be the right decision and I will still love and appreciate you.

Give one of this week’s videos a look see and see how I turned a pickle jar into a lighting vessel for our deck. In this video, I give you a step-by-step tutorial for taking an old pickle jar and upcycling it up to be a light fixture for our deck. I know you are going to love it. This is a no spend project for me and perhaps it could be for you too. You know how I love budget-friendly projects and what could be more budget-friendly than free?

And guys, with all of my personal transitions going on, my mother is still not doing well and no one can seem to tell me what the issue may be. She simply will not thrive. It reminds me of a baby with failure to thrive. She eats but her body does not utilize the nutrients. I am afraid for her. I ask that you keep her in your positive thoughts and in your prayers.
