Christmas 2020 Home Tour
A Cozy Lifestyle with Clearissa Coward
Although 2020 has been unnerving, we are now in the Christmas season and during this season we seem a bit more forgiving, generous, joyful, and at peace. Although this year’s holiday celebrations will look a bit different, it is still a time to celebrate and rejoice. In this article, Christmas 2020 Home Tour, I am sharing my home all decked out for the celebration.

It may be a small, probably my husband and I, gathering, I still wanted to make our home festive.
We began with the outside. Wanted to add a little holiday cheer to the curb appeal.
The entryway sets the stage for the rest of the home. I did not have to purchase much at all this year. It felt good using what we already had or things I’ve DIY’d.
The family area came together all cozy and welcoming. I used a lot of red and white this year and we are really enjoying the look. My grands popped in for a few minutes (wearing masks of course) and they loved it. I miss having them here to enjoy the space.
There are several DIYs throughout our home this year. The red plates in the plate rack are DIYs. I used my Cricut to add the lettering. Did I say I am loving the red and white.
Not sure we will set the table this year. If it is only the two of us, we will have dinner at the table for two. But a nice centerpiece is always nice. Nice and simple.
And then there is the tree. I added the decorations earlier than normal this year and it is because we needed some holiday cheer and the decor made us feel a bit more festive.

I also totally decked out the kitchen, two bathrooms, and the master and guest bedrooms. Again, I did not purchase much this year and a lot of what is new is actually DIYs and upcycles. When things are back to normal (soon I pray) I will need to remember how much fun creativity can be.
I am ready to get back to some sort of normalcy, but I do hope I can remain relaxed and continue to have a positive work/life balance. I do not want to lose this.
How about you? Are you having lots of family in this year? Did you decorate a little more than usual? Do your decorations help to put you in the holiday spirit?
