How To Organize A Small Bathroom
Second Installment In The Small Spaces Series
This is the second edition of my “Organization In Small Spaces Series”. You can find it here if you missed the first article in the series.
Organizing a small bathroom efficiently can make a big difference in maximizing the available space and creating a tidy, functional area. Here are some tips to help you get started:
Declutter: Start by decluttering all the items in your bathroom and decluttering. Dispose of expired products, old towels, or items you no longer use or need.
Use vertical space: Install shelves or tall cabinets to utilize vertical space for storage. This helps to keep the floor clear and makes the room feel less cramped.
Drawer organizers: If you are blessed to have drawers in your bathroom vanity, use drawer organizers to keep smaller items like makeup, toiletries, and grooming tools neatly separated and easily accessible.
Wall-mounted storage: Consider installing wall-mounted storage units such as shelves, cabinets, or magnetic strips for holding items like toothbrushes, toiletries, extra towels, or extra hair accessories. If your wall-mounted storage is open, be sure to use attractive containers.
Over-the-door organizers: Utilize the back of the bathroom door by hanging an organizer for storing items like paper products, hairdryers, or cleaning supplies.
Multi-functional furniture: Choose furniture pieces that serve multiple purposes, such as a vanity with built-in storage or a stool that doubles as a hamper.
Utilize baskets and bins: Use baskets or bins to corral similar items together, such as extra toilet paper, towels, or cleaning supplies. This keeps everything organized and easy to find.
Stackable containers: Use stackable containers or baskets to make the most of cabinet or closet space. This helps to prevent clutter and maximizes storage capacity.
Labeling: Labeling is my favorite. Consider labeling storage containers or shelves to help you and your family members easily locate items and maintain organization.
Frequent maintenance: Regularly assess your bathroom organization and make adjustments as needed. Get rid of any items that are no longer used and reorganize as necessary to maintain an efficient and clutter-free space.
Maintaining organization in a small bathroom can be challenging, but it is definitely possible with the strategic planning and creative solutions above.

Great tips – I agree labeling or using clear plastic containers makes it easy to find things w/o opening every container. Pinned!
Thank you dear friend. I have foud that when things are labeled, my husband puts things back where they belong more often than not. It just makes things easier. I appreciate you for stopping by. Hugs and thank you for the Pin.
