I Have An Addiction

Here’s an exerpt form my latest article on Moms Magazine. I understand the first step to solving a problem is admitting you have one. Well today I will take my first step toward recovery.

Hi, my name is Clearissa and I am addicted to night time soap operas. There I said it! I really have a problem. I am addicted to several, including The Atlanta Housewives, The Haves and the Have Nots, Being Mary Jane, Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away With Murder, and my all-time favorite, for now, Empire. Throw in all of the DIY shows I love,  such as reruns of the now defunct Nate Burkus Show, Flea Market Flip and my new favorite in this genre, Fixer Upper and I have become a TV junkie.  I blame it on my DVR. Surely you are not surprised I am not accepting responsibility for this…right? :) Having the DVR makes it easy to watch these shows whenever I want which means I never have to miss an episode.
