It’s been a while my friends and I have no excuses for my absence except to say, sometimes life just gets in the way. First, my website had very serious issues and had to be taken down. I think it was a good thing because I was feeling burned out and overwhelmed. I don’t know if you all know it or not but I also have a YouTube channel and keeping up with both can be a bit overwhelming at times and I needed that break and took full advantage of my site being down. But I’m back and today I am sharing seven tips for organizing and storing pots and pans. Enjoy!

Today, I am sharing seven tips to help you organize your pots and pans. It’s that time of year when we are refreshing our spaces and i always like to begin in my kitchen. I organized my cabinets last year and did a specific organization of my pots and pans. If you haven’t seen that video, I’ll leave the link here. The process is still working but cabinets, in my opinion, need to be refreshed every 6-12 months.

Cooking is an art that requires the right tools, and having a good set of pots and pans is essential for any kitchen. However, storing these items can be a challenge, especially if you have limited cabinet space like me. In this blog post, we will explore seven tips on how to store pots and pans effectively to keep your kitchen organized and clutter-free.

Pots and Pans

  1. Group Similar Items Together

Before you start organizing your pots and pans, it’s important to group similar items together. This means separating pans from pots, lids from pans, and so on. By doing this, you can easily identify which items you need and find them quickly.

  1. Utilize Wall Space

If you have limited cabinet space, consider utilizing your wall space to hang your pots and pans. You can install a hanging rack or a pegboard to store your items. This not only saves space but also adds a decorative element to your kitchen. Now this tip will not work for my kitchen, but if it works for your kitchen wall space, that’s great.

  1. Use Drawer Dividers

Drawer dividers are a great way to organize your pots and pans in drawers. By using dividers, you can separate each item and keep them in place. This also prevents them from scratching against each other and causing damage.

  1. Stack Your Pots and Pans

If you have space in your cabinets, stack your pots and pans to save room. However, make sure to place a layer of padding, such as a towel or a silicone mat, between each item to prevent scratching.

Pots and Pans

  1. Consider the Shape of Your Pots and Pans

When storing your pots and pans, consider their shape. For example, if you have a set of nesting bowls, store them inside each other to save space. Likewise, if you have a set of saucepans with lids, store the lids upside down to save space.

  1. Store Your Pots and Pans Close to the Stove

To save time and make cooking more efficient, store your pots and pans close to your stove. This makes it easy to grab the item you need while you’re cooking.

  1. Get Rid of Items You Don’t Use

If you have pots and pans that you never use, consider getting rid of them. This not only frees up space in your kitchen but also makes it easier to find the items you do use.

I don’t know how you do both a blog and your channel on Youtube. You’re so smart and organized that you make it look easy. I keep my 3 most used pans stacked on the back of my stove. That way I don’t have to bend, stoop, reach, etc trying to get them. My 2 favorite pots and lids are also close to the stove since the operation. It isn’t the most attractive way to store them but really helps me stay orgaized w/o hurting anything reaching etc.

Girl, I wish I had it all under control but it just looks that way. 🙂 Well you don’t need to be bending down right now anyway. So top of the stove is just right for you! Amd besides if it’s a pretty pot it can be decor. 🙂
As always my friend. thank you for reading, commenting, and being supportive. Hugs.
