From the Desk of Clearissa Coward’s Command Center/Divinely Organized
I have been perusing Pinterest, Face book and Google + and Instagram is simply buzzing. Okay, I surrender to the Professional Bloggers. I aspire to be you when I grow up.  You have already posted your fall sweaters blog, your fall vignette post, your fall wreaths, your fall garden projects, your fall everything.  And I will bet that many of you are already for your Christmas posts. I bow to your bloggership and I am going to watch and learn.  🙂 Seriously, I am learning so much from the pros  and I thank you all. However; as slow as I may be, I have finally begun my fall decorating. This is my favorite time of year and I may still be posting fall photos when everyone else has moved on to the holidays. Lol Don’t judge me.
The fall harvest colors are very rich, soothing and beautiful to me and if you check out my closet, I even wear a lot of those colors as well. Which indicates that I’m a fallie. Well if there can be foodies, I can be a fallie…right? 🙂
What you’re seeing here is my entry way. This space is the first thing you see when you come into my front door and it is the focus area when coming down the stairs. The table is very rustic and I like it that way. I’ve had it for years and it is a thrift store find. Over the years I have considered painting it but I have always thought better of it. The vase is a mainstay for now…it was a flea market find a few years ago (I haven’t been thrifting for awhile). I rarely move it, but I do change the flowers and the other accessories around it seasonally. I am proud of the way this little area has turned out this season. Not too fussy, but it screams fall. What do you think? And I did this on an $8.00 budget. Go Me! Well I did splurge on the potpourri at Pier 1. So we all know it was $12.00 but the fall fragrance as you enter the house is to die for. So the budget was actually $20.00. Still not too shabby. If you have suggestions on how I could make it better, I would gladly accept them.
Happy Fall,
