Organize Your Master Bedroom With These Simple Tips
A Cozy Lifestyle with Clearissa Coward
Hello friends and welcome to my 2022 Home Revival Series. Throughout the next couple of months, I will focus on resetting and organizing my home and I would love it if you would come along with me. I am beginning this series with the master bedroom.

I will also be going through this reset on my YouTube channel where you can watch me actually reset my home for winter 2022. Join me and you can work along with me to organize your home as well.
Entry One: Master Bedroom Reset/Reorganization:
The master bedroom should be a comfortable place to rest and relax. The more organized the bedroom is, the easier it is to relax and we are at that time of year when it’s time to reset our homes.
When a room is organized, you will feel more in control of not only your home, but your life as well. You will not have to take time to look for things, which not only saves time but is also less stressful. Take a moment now and look around the room and see what things you can remove and give a new home.
Start with the dressers and remove things from the top that are just creating clutter. If there are things, like makeup, that you use all the time, why not find a better way to store them. There are nice organizers that will fit into almost any décor style. Drawer dividers can also help keep things organized in the dresser itself.
Exploring under the bed can be an adventure. There are many nice storage boxes that fit under most beds. The boxes come in many sizes and materials, including plastic, cardboard, and wood. The wood and plastic ones often come with wheels, for easy access. Some have lids that are hinged in the middle so you can pull them out from under the bed part way and access the belongings inside. The great thing about the boxes is you can store anything from books to out-of-season clothing in them.
The closet is usually an area that needs a good bit of work to organize. Take it from me because that is on my Home Revival List for 2022. It really takes planning. If you do not have an oversized closet, you will need to determine what you want to store there and model your closet in a manner that fits everything neatly and efficiently.
There are a great number of closet storage systems that can be adapted for just about any size closet to maximize the storage space. Even just adding another bar to hang shirts can increase the storage space. But there are nice shelving systems that can incorporate hanging clothes, as well as shelves and boxes for things that can be folded. There are also shoe racks that can be hung on the back of the closet door for added storage space.
One of the more recent additions to storage options is the vacuum storage bag. These are great for storing out-of-season clothing. You can get more in each bag for the space once the air is sucked out of the bags. These bags will slide under the bed, or on shelves, saving room for other things. I love these bags.
By approaching the master bedroom one area at a time, things will fall into place. By keeping up on the clutter on a daily basis, the room can remain a place to escape it all.
From my family to yours…Happy 2022!
