I remember hearing my grandmother say and pray “I pray my last days will be my best days.” That just sounded like religious dribble to me in my youth. It became the old folks’ prayer in my 20s and 30s. It began to make sense to me in my 40s and it has become my mantra at this stage of my life. Funny how time changes outlooks and behaviors.
