The Command Center

From the Desk of Clearissa Coward’s Command Center – Week(s)-at-a-Glance

Another couple of weeks have passed and it’s time again for my weekly roundup. This has been a great two weeks. The Command Center introduced a guest blogger, Patricia Leitao,  and I want to thank the Command Center’s loyal followers for the great reception you all gave the article. I was also nominated for The Real Neat Blog Award. I am so very happy and humbled about the nomination. It means because of you, The Command Center is getting noticed. I included some of the questions I had to ask as an ice-breaker for the award. It’s a way for people to get to know you and I included the questions I was asked and my answers so that perhaps you guys can get to know a little bit about me as well. Afterall, we are all in this together, and I thank you…All Things Are Possible, right?

I hope you all continue to enjoy the weekly organization series added to the command center and I hope the quick and easy organization weekly tips are helpful. I am thinking of eventually pulling them all together in an eBook for you guys. That way, you will not have to search to find a tip you may want to revisit or share with a friend. Hold on it’s coming.

I want to invite you to share the Command Center with your friends and family. I am sure hey will benefit from the Command Center’s tips and projects as well. When you do that and your friend/family actually subscribe drop me a line and I will make sure you get a special gift from the Command Center to you for being such a great follower and ambassador.

As always, I thank you all for showing up every week and for following my projects. I wish I could explain to you how appreciated you are. In the meantime, please enjoy my posts from last two weeks and have a prosperous and productive weekend. Week-at-a-glance for November 23 –December 2, 2015.

I Vowed to Never Break a Promise to Her…Here’s Why

The article below was published by SheKnows, I am proud to be an influencer. An excerpt from the article is below and you can read the entire article here.

When you grow up in a family where promises are not honored, you learn not to expect much. That way when promises are not kept or someone’s word is broken, you aren’t disappointed. You learn to simply go with the flow — no matter which way it’s flowing. You learn not to believe or believe in the people you should count on most. You learn your role models may say this today but do that tomorrow. You actually learn to depend on yourself. Because in a world of broken promises self is really all you have. Weekly Organization Tip

What Can You Do Today to be More Organized Tomorrow?

I thought it would be a good idea to begin a “Quick Tip of the Week” focused on organization from Divinely Organized. I hope you are enjoying the weekly organization tips so far. Your responses have been positive. Keep them coming. I really appreciate how supportive you guys are. If you missed the previous articles, you can find them here, here or here. These are not long articles. They are quick reminders of small things you can add to your daily routine that will make a major difference in how you live. 

They will be quick tips and to some, they may seem quite obvious, but you would be surprised how just a nudge or reminder can help someone get and stay on the organizational track. For this week, I would like to give you a quick tip for keeping your kitchen tidy and organized. And the tip for this week is (sound the horns)…How to keep your Kitchen counters uncluttered all of the time. It may seem like a lot, but in actuality, it’s a simple process. And once you make it a habit, it will take no time at all. Are you with me?

The first step, repeat after me – find a specific place for everything in my kitchen. I hate clutter of any kind but especially in my kitchen. I can’t have counters that have nothing on them because of space and because I love to cook, therefore somethings need to be handy. However, even the frequently used stuff does not need to clutter my counters. Read the entire article here…

Divinely Organized – Six Unique Ways to Decorate Your Christmas Tree

My Blogger Buddy, or BB if you prefer, has graciously come back to share some holiday cheer. She and her partner, Kelly Mahan, are sharing 6 unique ways for you to decorate your Christmas tree this year. Some are quite traditional while others are, one might say, a little different but all are beautiful.

I am thrilled with the trees Patricia and Kelly have chosen to share with us, and I think you will be as well. They truly capture the essence of my readers and have chosen trees that I believe you all will love.  As always, she knows that over here at the Command Center, we are very budget conscious. 🙂 And most of these looks can be created without spending a fortune. Enjoy the article and be sure to leave a message for me and/or Patricia and Kelly with your favorite style of Christmas tree from this article.

Also, stay tuned as I am almost finished with transforming my humble abode and I will be sharing my personal Christmas look with you guys this week as well. Until then, enjoy the article and the visuals.
